Gazos Creek was responsible for design and budget for a large
regional telemedicine project. This design included connections to multiple hospitals,
public health offices and remote clinics throughout California. The high bandwidth
applications required innovative design utilizing dense wave division multiplexing (DWDM)
topologies between primary locations. This project required a complete
understanding of physical, network and transport mechanisms to ensure secured
video transmission of patient data. Several telecommunications rooms, data
centers and video editing facilities were designed as part of the project scope.
