MAJOR HOTEL CASINO OPERATOR
Project Management – Cabling Infrastructure Design – Network Deployment
This Las Vegas luxury hotel casino is situated on the “Strip” in Las Vegas Nevada. The 3.9-billion dollar project features 3000+ rooms, a 75,000 sq.ft. casino, 300,000 sq. ft. of retail space, 150,00 sq. ft convention and meeting space as well as spa and fitness areas.
Gazos was selected to provide design assistance and construction management for 79 enterprise communication rooms and 3000 “in room” communications closets and to deploy all network hardware. Responsibilities included:
Our services include:
MAJOR RESORT OPERATOR
Project Management
This major resort experienced a devastating flood on May 3, 2010. This devastating flood destroyed significant portions of the technology infrastructure.
Within days after the flood, Gazos Creek was selected to assist with technology redeployment. Gazos assisted in the development of program and project level planning for the re-building of IT infrastructure. Gazos provided interface to diverse technical, departmental and corporate entities which assisted in bringing the landmark back into service.
Specific efforts included development of the original program profile and documentation processes as well as project management of TCP/IP network infrastructure design and digital signage design and deployment. Gazos assisted in developing both technical and financial solutions.
REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
Project Management
Our client, a major development company, required IT support for a multi-phase construction project encompassing multiple sites across a major metropolitan area. Gazos Creek was responsible for technology design and multi-tenant construction project management. This included infrastructure, data, voice (VOIP), WAN, Internet, Mail, Access Control and Video Surveillance.
Project highlights include:
CANCER RESEARCH HOSPITAL
Network Design - Procurement - Implementation
Due to the need for high bandwidth and secure services in an academic environment, this major cancer research center needed a partner with experience and innovative ideas. Gazos was chosen to provide vendor selection assistance and network design/build services for this world class research and laboratory facility. The solution Gazos deployed provided a highly flexible LAN environment and redundant Gigabit Ethernet Backbone utilizing secured VLANs to increase bandwidth and reliability. Specific tasks included:
MAJOR BIO MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Communications Design and Cost Assessment
This major University required a partner with experience with inter-building and intra-building environments to provide high level design services for a new campus. Gazos was selected as the primary consultant by Enterprise Network Services to provide vision and planning direction for this effort. Over a four year period Gazos contracted services included:
Project deliverables:
MAJOR UNIVERSITY
Network Design and Deployment
This major University required a partner with extensive Wide Area Network experience to propose and implement a new campus wide network backbone. Gazos Creek is responsible for conversion of the Metropolitan Area Network to a new 10 Gigabit DWDM backbone. This conversion includes a necessary upgrade of campus telecommunications rooms to provide increase cooling, power and space. Gazos services included:
GLOBAL ONLINE SERVICES PROVIDER
Infrastructure Design and Deployment
This start up company required a partner with deep network architecture experience to support development of an real time, auction based display for online display advertising. Gazos Creek was chosen for the design and deployment of the network for this company which was eventually purchased by Microsoft. Through simulation techniques and traffic modeling, Gazos was able to design and deploy a network that produced production transaction speeds of 12 milliseconds. During the simulation phase, Gazos was asked to present findings to current and potential investors to allow this startup to capitalize. Ultimately the viability of such a complex computational environment was successful.
GLOBAL RESORT GAMING OPERATOR
Design Guidelines Standard Development
This world leader in resort gaming required a partner firm to develop a documented standard for enterprise infrastructure deployment. Gazos Creek was contacted to provide standards for technology infrastructure. These documents are utilized by internal staff and management, architects, designers and vendors for all aspects of IT construction. Gazos provided specific documentation provide direction in the areas of product specification sheets, Division 17 construction, design and project management. This includes specific focus on conduit, cable, UPS, cooling, access control and surveillance.
GLOBAL REMOTE ACCESS PROVIDER
Design Guidelines Standard Development
This world leader in resort gaming required a partner firm to develop a documented standard for enterprise infrastructure deployment. Gazos Creek was contacted to provide standards for technology infrastructure. These documents are utilized by internal staff and management, architects, designers and vendors for all aspects of IT construction. INTERNATIONAL NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATION (NDE) FIRM
Data Center Deployment
Gazos Creek was responsible for the design, implementation and management of the Data Center. Gazos was chosen to design all aspects of its new datacenter including room layout, cooling, power, cabling and network electronics
Project Highlights include:
MAJOR SEAFOOD DISTRIBUTOR
Infrastructure Design and Deployment
Gazos Creek was responsible for the design and deployment of the physical infrastructure for a large distribution facility. Gazos provided expertise in the form of cable plant and security. System specifics included:
AI Datacenter - Control Plane Design
A hyperscale program required early validation of its operational network before = systems reached the field. Gazos designed control-plane test environment to verify routing, segmentation, and security across BMS, EPMS, and access networks—ensuring deterministic behavior before deployment.
AI Datacenter - Operational Network Design
A large-scale datacenter redevelopment needed an independent review of its operational network. Gazos provided design validation, network segmentation, and security design to align multi-vendor systems under a unified operational framework.
AI Datacenter - RF Security
A hyperscale operator required the elimination of all RF communications within its battery monitoring system. Gazos developed an isolation and validation strategy using RF-shielded materials, segmented network design, and wired conversion options to meet tenant cybersecurity and operational requirements.
Municipal Water District
A regional utility sought to secure its control networks spanning treatment and distribution sites. Gazos performs recurrent testing, analysis and incident response to improve reliability and compliance across the service offering.
Water Utility
A city-wide water system required enhanced visibility and cybersecurity across its SCADA and telemetry networks. Gazos delivered a control-plane assessment and applied IPMeter instrumentation to validate performance, isolation, and fault tolerance in live operations.
